Eureka Valley

The fourth installment in an annual pilgrimage to Eureka Valley, highlighted by exploration of several canyons carved into the surrounding mountains. Eureka Valley is a place of immense beauty. Multicolors layers of strata eroding into vast alluvial fans give dramatic backdrop to the sand dune in the base of the valley. It's hard not to feel dwarfed by the landscape and the time it took to form.
